Last year’s Cycle for Survival raised more than $1.2 million for cancer research.   People “share” an indoor cycling bike for 4 hours and raise money for a great cause.  We get the best cycling instructors in NY to motivate people but you don’t need to have ever gotten on a bike before to have a great time and make a difference. There are activities for the whole family to enjoy.

These cancers alone don’t get much attention but when you group them together, they affect millions of people annually. To date, we have funded over 8 trials that have impacted brain, pancreative, soft-tissue, lymphoma and certain forms of pediatric cancer.

Meg was just a few months pregnant when she was diagnosed. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy weighing 2’13″. She could have aborted the pregnancy to begin treatments but she decided not to; she wanted so much to be a mother. She gave her son life, but lost hers. She got to be a mommy for 6 months. I did promise her that I would be sure her little boy would know who his mommy was and I am doing that. Amazingly, he is a lot like her.
