CancerGrief has received a lot of support and help from Rich Ralph (remember the guy who rollerbladed across Canada for cancer research?!?)
Well, now it’s our turn to give back to him!
Rich is in the process of putting a book together and he needs all of our help. The book is going to be a small, coffee-table style book. The idea behind the book is to have unique inspirational quotes from anyone and everyone who has faced some form of adversity in their life.

So Rich is looking for everyone to send him meaningful quotes. They can be thoughts that helped you through your tough days, sayings that you remember which were useful, funny quotes that stuck with you, maybe even a specific song, or lyrics that were powerful to you. Anything that comes to mind.

Each page i Rich’s book will simply have your quote, name (anonymous if you prefer), age(optional), and the adversity you faced. So for example, here is one Rich has already recieved:

“God don’t make junk!”
~Ron (age 65)
Recovering Alcoholic
-from the Big Book of A.A-

Short, Simple, but powerful. Some quotes will be a few words, while others may be a paragraph. Not everyone may agree with the quotes, but the idea is to publish a book of quotes which will have some appeal to everyone. Rich wants to give people a light-hearted read that will show people struggling with adversity that they are not alone in the world.

So CancerGrief would like to encourage EVERYONE to think for a minute about a time in your life you struggled (it could be right now). What saying, quote, thought, song, helped you, or is helping you through your hard times?
Please send Rich a quick e-mail with your quotes.
